EDIT: Nevermind everybody, I've decided on the Magpie Lark. Just seems to fit the name Zen best. And I like the patterns those birds have.




As I said in my last journal, I'm creating a new character, a Dhole (Asiatic or Indian Wild Dog).

I have a lot decided on him already.
He's gonna be kinda Native American like. Decided I need a character like that since I'm part Native American and I just love everything about them.
And he's going to have a buddy, a bird.
And I might be naming him Tazo and his buddy's name will be Zen (or the other way around, I'm still deciding).
My favorite tea is called Tazo Zen green tea. xD

Butttt.
One thing I can't decide- the breed of the bird.
It's either gonna be an Asian Fairy Bluebird ([link]), which then I would have to change the bird's gender to a female cause I like the female's coloring more, anddd I dunno how I like Zen for a female's name.

A Magpie ([link]) or a Magpie Lark ([link]). I just found out about the Magpie Lark while looking for a good photo of a Magpie. xD

I'm really leaning toward just a plain old Magpie, cause we have a lot of them around here and saying hello to them is sposed to be good luck (yes, I'm superstitious).
But I wanted to see what everyone else thought about it.
